Job Description

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their manufacturing company in Bristol, Connecticut. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities and providing excellent support to various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • QuickBooks experience handling invoices
  • Assist in scheduling meetings and appointments, and maintain calendars.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing them to appropriate staff members.
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
  • Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a relevant administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Thursday 8-3
