Hourly Rate: $20.00 – 26.00/ Hour on W2 ONLY

Job Description:

• Executes laboratory tasks as directed, adhering to set quality standards.
• Under guidance and supervision of the chemists/manager, makes batches of skincare prototypes, keeping accurate records of experimental processes, observations, and results in a lab notebook.
• Performs and tracks stability on formulas made.
• Proactively reports any stability concerns to the chemists/manager.
• Manages raw material inventory.
• Must be detailed-oriented.
• May provide creative and resourceful solutions to issues which may arise during the product development process.
• Interfaces with various support groups within R&D.
• Potential to extend contract at the end of the year.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science or related field.
• 3+ years maximum of laboratory experience, preferably in cosmetic formulation development.
• Relevant experience in other industries will be considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information.
• A collaborative and proactive team player with a positive attitude.
