The North Dakota Retirement and Investment Office (NDRIO) is hiring a Chief Financial/ Operating Officer (CFOO) . ND RIO manages more than $24 billion for North Dakota’s State Investment Board and administers the Teachers’ Fund for Retirement.
As a key member of the Executive Team and reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Chief Financial/Operating Officer (CFOO) is responsible for the oversight of middle and back office, the financial and accounting functions, and fiscal operations of NDRIO. The CFOO provides leadership to a talented team of 9 accounting and investment operations staff; and has management oversight of the fiscal operations and strategic initiatives of the agency. These operations include financial accounting, investment accounting, budgeting, payroll, purchasing, procedure and policy design, external audits, reporting, strategic and legislative planning. The CFOO will collaborate across all NDRIO departments and act as a strategic thought partner to the Executive Director and other NDRIO leaders.
