Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing company located in Kent, WA on the hiring for a Chief of Staff to partner closely with the CEO and act as a trusted advisor across departments. This individual will be responsible for owning critical HR operations, managing the CEO’s executive workflow, and leading special projects that improve organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO, helping prioritize and execute on high-impact initiatives
  • Lead HR initiatives such as employe onboarding and offboarding, workforce planning, benefits administration, payroll, DEI initiatives and performance management
  • Play a key role in culture-building, employee experience, and internal communications
  • Develop scalable systems and policies to support talent retention, engagement, and compliance
  • Support hiring strategy and leadership recruitment efforts alongside HR and department heads
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and communications for internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional projects including office remodels, company events, and system/process overhauls
  • Build alignment across departments and create visibility into company-wide goals and progress

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, HR leadership, or operational support role
  • Demonstrated experience managing payroll, benefits, and HR compliance
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Highly self-sufficient and intelligent, with the ability to take initiative and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal savvy with ability to work across all levels of the organization
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with in payroll and HRIS tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust and influence across all levels
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and a people-first mindset
