π Coding Provider Review & Education Manager
π Location: Hybrid / On-Site as Needed in New York, Philadelphia and New Jersey

π° Compensation Range: $110,681 β $156,337 annually

π§ About the Role
As the System Professional Coding Provider Review and Education Manager , youβll lead enterprise-wide efforts to onboard, educate, and review medical record documentation and coding practices for physicians, advanced practice providers, and billing providers across multiple medical centers.
Youβll collaborate closely with physician leadership, coding management, and compliance partners to deliver targeted education, conduct documentation reviews, and ensure consistent, compliant coding practicesβboth on-site and remotely . π»π₯
This role also partners cross-functionally with Coding Quality leadership and supports audits, operational initiatives, and shared oversight of coding teams.
π― What Youβll Do
β¨ Lead and manage a team of provider educators, ensuring high-quality, accurate training
π Develop and deliver onboarding, annual, quarterly, and specialty-specific coding education
π Conduct and support medical record reviews and provider audits
π§Ύ Create education materials aligned with federal, state, and official coding guidelines
π Track productivity, attendance, and educational outcomes
π€ Partner with physicians, APPs, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, and Coding leadership
π’ Clearly communicate coding guidance and audit findings to providers
π Support and staff an internal Coding Hotline
π§ Stay current on E/M updates, telehealth rules, teaching physician guidelines, and more
β Required Qualifications
π CPC, COC, or CPC-I (AAPC Instructor) certification
π 8β10 years of combined coding, auditing, and teaching experience
π₯ 3β5 years of management experience
π Advanced expertise in E/M coding
π§ Deep knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM guidelines
π» Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
β‘ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing healthcare environment
ποΈ Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
π Active certification(s) with ongoing continuing education
β Preferred Qualifications
π CPMA certification
π© πΌ Supervisory experience in a coding or healthcare setting
π₯οΈ Experience with coding platforms such as Epic, 3M, or EncoderPro
