Job Description

LHH is working with a general contracting firm in central Texas who is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The company specializes in a variety of commercial and industrial projects, ranging from ground-up construction to interior renovations and specialty builds. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand scope and identify potential challenges or risks
  • Analyze and compare subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and proper coverage
  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and contingency costs
  • Prepare detailed breakdowns of costs, including overhead and profit
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure scope and budget alignment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an estimator in commercial construction
  • Experience with both ground-up and interior projects preferred
  • Willingness to provide a list of past projects and areas of expertise
