Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily on-site operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to our quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily on-site construction operations and project progress
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, self-perform work, and trade professionals
  • Interpret plans and facilitate layout
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Perform quality control and ensure adherence to plans and specifications
  • Maintain project schedules and resolve on-site issues promptly
  • Conduct regular meetings with project teams and clients
  • Document daily progress, materials, and site conditions
  • Coordinate inspections and minimize punch list items

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of construction experience
  • Management/supervisory experience in the construction field from the ground up
  • Experience with projects in $10+ million range
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites in Southern Maine
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
  • Proficiency with construction software and technology preferred
