Job Description

My client, a Global, Alternative Asset Manager, is looking to bring on a Corporate Paralegal to join its legal team. The person in this role will be supporting various legal and compliance activities for the firm and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. As a member of a small team, this person will be expected to operate as key contributor to support the wider Legal & Compliance team. This role will be based in the company's Greenwich, CT office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the execution of NDAs, Engagement Letters, Vendor Contracts, and deal documents, including managing signature page distribution, routing document
• Support the Investment Team on transaction closings and maintain deal documentation
• Prepare governance documents, assisting with management of entities across multiple jurisdictions
• Assist with AML and KYC
• Ad hoc projects as needed
• Compliance monitoring activities such as maintenance of Watch and Restricted Lists
• Available during non-regular working hours on occasion

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree
• 3+ YOE as a paralegal in the financial services space
• Ideally having worked for a Hedge Fund or Private Equity firm
• Creative problem solver
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter and able to work effectively on your own
