Digital Media/Video Contractor
Mission : The Mexic‐Arte Museum is dedicated to enriching the community through education programs, exhibitions, and the collection, preservation, and interpretation of Mexican, Latinx, and Latin American art and culture for visitors of all ages.
Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Executive Director; works with various staff members
Job: The Digital Media/Video Associate is Part-Time contractor as needed.
Hourly - $22-25 per hour
Digital Media /Video Contractor - SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Media /Video Contractor will work with Mexic-Arte Team to:
· Publish and update the digital archive of exhibitions, events and media files
· Film, edit and produce short videos for website including using storymap app
· Manage, add and enhance digital content to improve website
· Work on digital media initiatives
Required Qualifications
· Experience in related fields in media, video and website management.
Candidate must have these following skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail and organization
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced work environment
• Comfortable working on both Windows and Mac platforms
• Experience with imaging software, such as Adobe Photoshop and iPhoto
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility

Requirements:
· Reliable transportation and valid driver license preferred. Must be punctual, professional, and flexible in assisting in tasks outside of those listed above based on need. Self-starter, routinely takes initiative. Belief in the Museum’s mission is necessary. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint necessary; experience in Adobe Creative Suite and collection database systems.
