We’re currently supporting a well-established, community-focused bank in their search for a "Director, Regulatory Compliance" for a full-time, in-office role located in Mantua, NJ. This is a critical role responsible for leading the bank’s Fair Lending Compliance efforts and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Oversee compliance across all departments to ensure alignment with applicable federal and state regulations, as well as industry best practices.
• Prepare and present compliance reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring, testing, and audits of business activities to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Evaluate new business initiatives and strategic projects to assess potential regulatory implications.
• Review team and departmental work to identify compliance gaps and provide guidance, feedback, or targeted training.
• Stay current on evolving regulatory requirements, internal policies, and organizational objectives to ensure the compliance program remains effective and forward-looking.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee compliance inquiries and provide clarity on regulatory or policy-related matters.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
