Position: Electrical Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Centers

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Full-time onsite)

Company: Top 10 Electrical Contractor

A nationally recognized electrical contractor is seeking a skilled Electrical Project Manager to manage the full lifecycle of hyperscale data center projects in the Phoenix metro area. This role will lead project planning, coordination, and execution with a focus on delivering high-quality, fast-paced infrastructure builds in one of the nation’s top data center markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee electrical scope from preconstruction through commissioning
  • Manage project budgets, change orders, procurement, and contract documentation
  • Coordinate closely with field teams, GCs, clients, and design partners
  • Lead submittal reviews, RFIs, material tracking, and risk mitigation
  • Maintain project schedules and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with code, safety protocols, and client performance standards
  • Support BIM coordination, installation sequencing, and turnover documentation
  • Serve as a key point of contact for hyperscale clients and commissioning teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7–10+ years of electrical project management experience in large-scale construction
  • Experience managing data center or other mission-critical infrastructure projects ($50M+)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC, and complex MEP coordination
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
  • Ability to lead teams and interface with clients in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience working with hyperscale clients (Meta, Google, AWS, Microsoft, etc.)
  • OSHA 30 and PMP or equivalent certifications preferred
  • Willingness to work on-site in Phoenix as required by project phase.
