Job Description

Operations Manager

Location: Olathe

Salary Range: $60,000 – $85,000 annually

Employment Type: Full-Time

**Overview:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized **Operations Manager** to lead and optimize our construction field operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily activities, improving operational efficiency, developing personnel, and ensuring high standards of customer service and safety.

### **Key Responsibilities**

**Operations Management**

* Direct and oversee construction operations and field performance.

* Procure materials, equipment, and supplies efficiently.

* Optimize asset usage across job sites.

* Coordinate daily technician schedules to align with customer needs.

* Audit and report on daily production.

* Develop and implement process automation initiatives.

* Communicate effectively with customers regarding service status and expectations.

**Personnel Management**

* Supervise and support field technicians.

* Recruit and onboard new team members.

* Coach and develop employees for skill and career growth.

* Evaluate employee performance and lead performance improvement plans.

* Implement strategies for continuous quality improvement.

* Ensure safety program adherence and compliance with all regulations.

### **Qualifications**

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proven leadership experience in a production-focused environment.

* Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and improve team performance.

* Experience resolving customer and personnel issues effectively.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).

* Outstanding attendance and time management.

**Preferred:**

* Bilingual (English/Spanish).

* Familiarity with construction management software or scheduling tools.

* Post-secondary education, trade school certification, or equivalent work experience.

* Prior experience in **construction management** or a related field is required.
