Graphic Designer – Packaging (Contract)

Remote | ~20 hours/week | Global Lighting Manufacturer

Are you a skilled graphic designer with experience creating retail packaging for top retailers like Costco, Walmart, Lowe’s, and Home Depot ? We're looking for a contract-based Graphic Designer to join our creative team — with the potential to grow into a full-time role .

We’re a global manufacturer of portable lighting products , including flashlights, headlamps, lanterns, and work lights. Our portfolio includes branded and licensed products that span multiple retail categories. We specialize in delivering performance, innovation, and category-leading design.

What You'll Do

• Design retail-ready packaging , planograms, and visual assets for major US retailers (Costco, Walmart, Lowe’s, Home Depot).
• Collaborate closely with the product development and marketing teams to align packaging with product positioning.
• Adapt packaging for multiple formats and retailer-specific compliance (Costco PDPs, Walmart GRS, etc.).
• Handle revisions, dielines, and final production files with speed and precision.
• Work within tight retail timelines and high-volume project cycles.
• Optional: Contribute to sell sheets, instructions, and lifestyle visuals.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in packaging or consumer product design , preferably in retail channels.
• Strong portfolio with packaging designed for Costco, Walmart, Lowe’s, or Home Depot .
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign .
• Comfort working on a part-time, contract basis (~20 hrs/week) .
• Portfolio of work
• Bonus: Experience with 3D rendering, KeyShot, or motion graphics.
