Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Technical Trainer that is HVAC certified to deliver and develop training for equipment across a range of formats and settings. This role is ideal for someone who combines hands on technical expertise with the ability to engage diverse audiences through effective instructional design and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands on lab instructions for brand products
• Develop educational and technical training aids, including presentations and support materials
• Travel to domestic and international locations to conduct training sessions and assist with other learning activities
• Provide training support for additional areas, including sales, administrative staff, and corporate client education
• Assist distributor partners with training corporate customers and equipment end users
• Support field service initiatives such as equipment troubleshooting, trade shows, new product introductions, and large scale rollouts
• Maintain the state of the art training facility, ensuring equipment and supplies are secured and operational
• Contribute to additional training efforts, including video production, virtual instruction, and the creation of technical publications

Position Requirements

• Strong presentation skills with the ability to adapt to changing subject matter and environments
• Above average technical aptitude, including hands on experience with mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and electronic controls
• Comfort working with a wide range of learning styles and cultural backgrounds
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including internationally
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends
• Strong organizational and project management skills with a self-directed approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• HVAC Certification
