LHH is working with a metals manufacturer in Arlington, TX that is seeking a Maintenance Technician.

Maintenance Technician

Employment Type: Full-time | Onsite | Day shift

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hours/week)
• Minimal overtime required
• Pre-employment drug test and physical required
• Safety-sensitive role in an industrial environment

Duties:

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on furnaces, boilers, chillers, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic equipment
• Inspect and maintain fluid levels, water flows, quench oils, filters, and washer soap per specifications
• Diagnose mechanical issues and execute corrective actions to restore equipment to optimal performance
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage tools, manuals, and parts inventory
• Operate company vehicles safely for material pickups as needed
• Report repair needs promptly and recommend improvements for efficiency and safety

Requirements:

• Proven experience working on industrial furnaces, boilers, chillers, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with MS Office/database tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Effective communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident)
