Position Overview

The Manufacturing Manager will assemble microbiology imaging systems, ensuring that products are manufactured according to established quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, self motivated, good communication skills, with the room to grow into additional roles including software development and product design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing & Assembly : Perform hands-on assembly, testing, and packaging of devices in accordance with SOPs and work instructions.
• Equipment Setup & Calibration : Ensure proper calibration and functions. Assist with troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Quality Control : Inspection of products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Documentation : Accurately complete production and batch records, inspection reports, and equipment maintenance logs. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. (ex: FDA, ISO 13485)

Qualifications

• Education : Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or related engineering field.
• Experience : 2+ years of product manufacturing preferred, but not required.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of hand tools, manufacturing equipment, and measurement devices.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience or interest in learning Windows C++ programming would be a plus.
