Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel clients on California employment law, compliance obligations, and workplace policy development.

• Conduct impartial workplace investigations, including Title IX cases, with thorough documentation and reporting.

• Deliver interactive trainings to employers on topics such as DEI, harassment prevention, and leadership.

• Draft and review policies, handbooks, employment agreements, and settlements.

• Contribute content to thought leadership blogs and firm publications.

• Stay current on regulatory developments in California labor and employment law.

• Collaborate with a close-knit legal team to deliver excellent client service.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Active California Bar license required.

• 4–8 years of California employment law experience, particularly in advice and counsel and/or investigations.

• Strong legal writing, communication, and organizational skills.

• AWI-CH certification preferred (firm-sponsored enrollment available).

• Ability to handle emotionally sensitive interviews and deliver clear, unbiased findings.

• Fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage.

• Applicants with less than 4 years of focused experience may be considered at a different compensation level.
