POSITION SUMMARY

• This position works closely with managers, physicians, mid-level providers, and nurses in a team setting to deliver high quality patient care in an efficient and effective manner. A strong work ethic, with the ability to multi-task and function in a fast-moving work environment are essential functions of this job.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

• One year working in an ophthalmic practice.

Required Registration/License/Certification

• BLS certification within 90 days of date of hire or transfer.

Preferred Education

• Associates Degree

Preferred Experience

• Two years working in an ophthalmic practice.

Preferred Registration/License/Certification

• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or Tech, COA or COT
