DNT Express is a growing liquor distribution company in New York State that delivers to over 4,000 locations state wide and we are hiring! Our warehouse work week is Monday - Thursday, only 4 days a week!
If hired, you will be responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment as follows.
· Break down pallets and sorting product in designated areas.
· Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.
· Operate industrial power equipment (electric pallet jacket/pump jack).
· Restock and replenish as appropriate.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
· Fill in for other positions as needed.
· Perform general warehouse work and other tasks as needed.
· Periodic standing, bending, kneeling, lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing.
· Picking, lifting, shrink wrapping, and packing product for delivery.
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to work in 55-degree refrigerated environment.
· Ability to be flexible with your schedule (we experience peak times/heavy volume of work that may require overtime).
Skills & Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
· Prior warehouse/production/equipment service experience preferred
· Must be Able to operate a manual/powered pallet jack
- Must be able to lift product constantly from 40 to 50 lbs.
· Demonstrated attention to detail.
· Basic Math and Reading comprehension (to read work order instructions)
