JOB POST: Physician Assistant (PA) – Urgent Care

Hiring PAs for New Downtown LA & Montebello Clinics + South Bay Locations!

Locations Hiring: Downtown LA • Montebello • Manhattan Beach • Redondo Beach

Schedule: PT (1–2 shifts/week) or FT (3 shifts/week)

Shift Times: 9am–9pm (12-hour shifts) + 6-hour weekend shifts

About the Role

Our urgent care network is expanding rapidly, and we’re looking for skilled Physician Assistants with urgent care or higher-acuity experience. You’ll join a forward-thinking team that values clinical excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care.

This role offers autonomy, strong support from Emergency Medicine physicians, modern facilities, and consistent scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and patient assessments
• Order and interpret diagnostics
• Develop treatment plans and collaborate with the supervising physician
• Prescribe medications and manage acute conditions
• Respond to emergency situations; must be code-competent
• Perform procedures, assist with treatments, and administer medications
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans
• Maintain chart accuracy in Experity EMR
• Support patient flow and clinic operations

Compensation & Benefits

• Effective rate ~$95/hr (base + penalty pay)

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in Urgent Care or higher-acuity setting
• Active California PA License
• Current NCCPA certification
• DEA with California address
• BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Comfortable working at least one weekend shift
• Willing to float up to 20 miles based on clinic needs
