Plant Manager

A global leader in custom packaging solutions is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at their high-mix, Chicagoland plant. This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across all functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards at all times.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resources.
• Manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and deliver on cost and performance targets.
• Lead, coach, and mentor teams to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements, delivery timelines, and quality expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (MBA a plus).
• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, in a high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and solve complex problems.
