Postdoctoral fellowship at University of California, San Francisco is available for a highly motivated individual to join the laboratory of Mark R. Looney, MD in the Department of Medicine and the Bakar ImmunoX Institute at the University of California, San Francisco.
Available projects are related to lung biology and innate immunity.
The ideal applicant should have a MD/PhD or PhD and have experience with animal models, molecular immunology, and advanced microscopy. The applicant will be expected to design and perform experiments, critically analyze data, and assume primary responsibility for writing and publishing the scientific results. Excellent organizational and communication skills are a prerequisite.
