Title: Recruiting Specialist

Type: 6-Month Contract / Hybrid (1 day a week on-site in Seattle every Tuesday)

Hours: Full-time Hours (PST)

Location: Seattle, WA

Hourly/Contract Rate: $30 - $40/hour, depending on relevant experience.

Summary:

We’re looking for a Recruiting Specialist to join our client's team in Seattle! In this role, you’ll handle the full life-cycle recruiting process, including conducting interviews, working closely with hiring managers, assessing candidate skills, presenting offers, and assisting with onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of improving processes and building solid relationships across teams to become a trusted partner in talent acquisition.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts the full-cycle recruiting process, which includes creating job descriptions, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, organizing interviews, coaching hiring managers, making offers, and negotiating salaries to ensure a high-quality candidate experience.
• Comfortable working in an Applicant Tracking System and managing requisitions within the tool.
• Partners with the full HR team to ensure alignment across recruiting, communications, talent development, compensation, and HR business partners.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to recruiting and onboarding to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• 2+ years of broad recruiting experience across multiple functions and levels.
• Familiarity with proactive recruiting and sourcing strategies.
• Experienced in managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships.
• Team player attitude and a collaborative approach to recruiting.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and in fast-paced, corporate environments.
• Strong interpersonal and partnering skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven success in sourcing and hiring passive candidates.
• Strong experience using an ATS to track and manage candidates.
• Metrics-driven with experience building reports and dashboards.
