As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Mon05:30 AM - 02:00 PM Fri09:30 PM - 06:00 AM **Requirements** + **Valid Driver's License** + **21+ years of age** + **Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam** + **Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)** **What You'll Do:** + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. + Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns according to site protocols. + Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel as required. + Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports and/or logs as directed by site management. + Assist with crowd management and help to maintain order during busy periods or special events at the location. **Minimum Requirements:** + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. + Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. + Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.** All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race/ethnicity, age, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or relationship/association with a protected veteran, or any other basis or characteristic protected by law.
