Job Description

Must Haves

• BS/MS degree in Electrical engineering or Biomedical Engineering with Electrical Engineering focus
• 5 years of experience, preferably in the medical device industry
• Project leadership experience
• Experience in customer facing role is a bonus

Position Responsibilities

• Uses engineering methodologies, principles, and tools to develop or improve technical products, systems or processes that meet specified requirements or standards.
• Researches and identifies optimal materials and processes to ensure product quality, performance and manufacturability.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure specifications are captured.
• Oversees prototype development and testing to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs, collect feedback and draw meaningful insight for product improvements.
• Maintains detailed documentation of test results, processes and specifications for future needs.
• Summarizes research results and communicates findings to internal and external bodies. Assists in the development of manufacturing documentation for production processes.
• Creates and maintains projects timelines and deliverables. Ensures project timelines are communicated and met.
• Act as a mentor to other personnel within the team; responsible for delegating and reviewing others' work product as part of a project team.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.
