Service Technician – Medical Device Support

Lithia Springs, GA | Onsite | 6 Month Contract-to-Hire

Are you a natural troubleshooter with a passion for technology and healthcare? This is an opportunity to put your technical skills to work on devices that directly improve people’s quality of life. Our Lithia Springs Service Center is looking for a Service Technician to join the team supporting innovative medical devices.

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot, test, and repair CPAP and APAP devices at the sub-assembly level using service manuals, diagnostic software, and test equipment.
  • Perform system calibrations, hardware/software testing, and device inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Document customer-reported issues, technical findings, and resolutions in the complaint tracking database.
  • Follow FDA and ISO guidelines for complaint handling, service entitlement verification, and escalation procedures.
  • Stay current with technical specifications, product updates, and service manuals across a wide range of ResMed products.
  • Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, hands-on service environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years of technical education or equivalent hands-on service experience in electronics or related fields.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability with both hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with ISO and FDA practices in regulated industries (preferred).
  • Experience with test equipment such as flow meters, manometers, digital voltage meters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfort with internet applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, technical manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Typing proficiency (35–50+ wpm).

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Location: Lithia Springs, GA (onsite at the Service Center)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST
  • Occasional overtime (weekday afternoons only; no weekends)
  • Business casual environment with moderate noise level
  • Some exposure to moving parts/electrical components (safety standards followed)
