Responsibilities

Peraton requires Unified Communication Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3.  This position is located in Baumholder, Germany and requires TESA approval.  

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

UC Administrators perform Tier one and two voice and video support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. This position must organize resources and work collaboratively to meet multiple team objectives, as well as interact closely with Government representatives on highly advanced technical issues. Experience working with the specific hardware used in the Government’s UC system is highly valued.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Managing the configuration and maintenance of voice, data, and video equipment
• Ensuring that trouble ticket items are investigated and resolved and that necessary equipment repairs are performed
• Overseeing the resolution of circuit issues
• Ensuring that system logs and records are maintained
• Providing Tier 3 support for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems across multiple organizations, including troubleshooting connectivity issues, managing room configurations, and ensuring optimal performance
• Administering and supporting mobile device management (MDM) solutions, ensuring secure access to resources and compliance with security policies
• Collaborating with stakeholders across supported organizations to understand and address unique VTC and mobility requirement
• Maintaining documentation and knowledge base articles related to VTC and mobile device support
• Monitoring VTC and mobile device performance and proactively identifying and resolving potential issues

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with AS/AA; 8 years with BS/BA; 6 years with MS/MA; 3 years with Ph.D.
• 12 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification
• DoD TS/SCI clearance is required for this role
• CCNA Certification
• At least 3 years of experience working as a UC Administrator or equivalent
• Candidates must have experience with current technologies and, where required for the task, emerging technologies
• Canididates must meet TESA requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate OR Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate
• Experience with various VTC platforms (e.g., Cisco TelePresence, Polycom, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom)
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, MobileIron)
• Experience supporting VTC and mobility solutions in a multi-organizational environment
• Knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323) and related technologies
• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices related to VTC and mobile devices
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
