Trier and Company, an award-winning global integrated communications agency, has an immediate opening for a Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist ( CONTRACT POSITION ) to join our dynamic technology practice. This position provides a fantastic opportunity for a passionate social media professional with deep B2B technology experience. The Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for defining the social voice and driving engagement on social channels through the lens of our clients. This position will oversee the ongoing content strategy, create daily posts, and manage activities to increase our clients' engagement on social platforms, including LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, and Substack.

The Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist should have experience and a passion for creating videos and content, as well as managing social media communities. The right candidate will be a strong writer and an out-of-the-box thinker who consistently brings new ideas to the table. You will be responsible for creating original content, managing editorial calendars, building metrics reports, and responding to followers. You will collaborate with content writers, PR, brand managers, and the social team to manage our clients' company image cohesively, aligning with their business goals. We're looking for an energetic individual who can interact with clients and the team - someone who has ideas and is assertive, bringing creativity to the table. Proficiency in Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. MUST BE EXPERIENCED WITH ADOBE PREMIER PRO.

You must have outstanding follow-through in a real-time environment and experience executing day-to-day social marketing, as well as writing content that engages and builds strong communities. If you love digital content creation and are comfortable as a consultant/contractor, this is the gig for you.

Responsibilities

  • Could you implement a social media strategy that aligns with business goals and brand strategy?
  • Report on ROI - End-of-Month Reports
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g.,. original text, photos, videos, and news)
  • Be skilled at developing and creating videos to match content
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor customer reviews
  • Maintain the social profile's design, making sure it's up-to-date as channels change all the time
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and participation
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a social media manager and ability to deliver creative content
  • Understanding of B2B Technology, specifically cybersecurity and semiconductor industries.
  • Having worked in an agency environment
  • Hands-on experience in content management and video marketing
  • Comfortable working remotely
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Understanding of social media KPIs
  • Familiarity with social analytics, SMMS, and Listening tools
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Journalism, or a relevant field
