Job Description

MUST:

• 2-6 years of experience MAX in one of these backgrounds: management consulting, investment banking, or MNA/corporate strategy for a company
• Hungry to learn and grow their career
• MBA in Finance
• Background in finance and strategy and product
• Experience managing things under tight timelines and creating high quality deliverables for external audiences.
• Expert at building relationships internally and work with high level stakeholders
• Experience with annual strategic planning – prepare materials, make sure we are looking at multiple horizons of strategy.
• Has bult financial models in excel - Financial modeling – model out business scenarios and experience doing industry research and giving 1000 foot view on it
• Experience with Investor marketing and building investor pitch materials for prospective investors (does not need to be the one presenting, but can create the decks and make them crisp)

PLUS:

• Worked for a Financial services company

DAY TO DAY:

This multi-faceted position will involve various strategic, financial and operational projects, including strategic and operational planning, competitive intelligence, investor relations, M&A and investments. Person will prepare analyses and presentations for Senior Executives and important external parties that will contribute to the growth of the company. This role will report to the VP, Finance (who reports in to CEO) and is located in our Durham, NC office.

• Crafting written memos and all manner of communications
• Create high-quality, impactful presentations to all manner of internal and external audiences
• Financial analysis and modeling
• Interact collaboratively with all other internal and external teams
• Maintain complete confidentiality of company business
