Job Description

Overview:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily shipping operations by printing labels, performing data entry, and assisting with the packaging and preparation of outgoing shipments. This role ensures orders are processed accurately and on time while maintaining organized documentation and communication with carriers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Print shipping labels and documentation for outgoing orders
• Enter shipment data into company systems with accuracy and attention to detail
• Assist with packaging, weighing, and preparing items for shipment
• Verify addresses, quantities, and shipping requirements for each order
• Coordinate with carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight) as needed
• Maintain shipping logs and update tracking information
• Help organize and maintain the shipping area, supplies, and materials
• Communicate with warehouse, production, laboratory, or customer service teams regarding order status or discrepancies
• Follow company guidelines and safety procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous shipping, warehouse, or clerical experience preferred
• Good Microsoft Office computer skills and data entry proficiency
• Familiarity with shipping software and label printing is a plus
• Interest in learning more about testing and formulating chemical products in a laboratory environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift packages as required (typically up to 30–50 lbs)
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Work Environment:

Warehouse, laboratory, and shipping/receiving area with regular standing, lifting, and use of basic shipping tools and equipment.
