WHO we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Business Analyst (SCM) to join our team.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support collaborative supply chain management (SCM) planning process by managing and improving system-based tools. Interface with key customer contacts during weekly planning meetings, and as needed.
  • Conduct analysis of carrier sales, inventory, and competitive data to identify trends. Make recommendations which integrate the analysis into business plans.
  • Maintain database to provide real-time information regarding sales and competitive activity.
  • Support Financial planning processes related to the sales team: Analysis, reporting and data entry (monthly forecast cycle) as well as volume and revenue simulation of promotional cost and business impact. Support additional management activities, as required, to assist others in meeting their deadlines.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Minimum 3 years of equivalent work experience in Channel Management, Business Planning or Sales Operations, Data Analysis.
  • High school diploma or equivalent - Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Superior Excel modelling (not limited to VLOOKUP & PIVOT) & PowerPoint experience.
  • Statistical knowledge such as regression would be a plus.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
