Job Description

One of Insight Global's Residential Contracting clients is looking for a Construction Superintendent to join their team in Lakeland, FL. This person will be responsible for managing all functions of the construction site related to building quality for residential homes. This role involves supervising construction from the initial stages through to closing, maximizing profits while maintaining excellence through the ARC business model. This position ensures quality assurance and customer satisfaction throughout the construction process, overseeing the planning and direction of ARC staff and trade partners in the construction and completion of homes.

The base salary is 75k with bonus opportunity for total comp to range from 80k-160k.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing construction timelines
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Conducting safety meetings
  • Supervise construction from dirt through closing while maximizing profits and maintaining excellence through the ARC business model
  • Approve trade partner's purchase orders and invoices for assigned homes, ensuring timely and quality completion of work
  • Informs and trains trade partners regarding company policies and procedures, including safety and OSHA compliance
  • Managing external partnerships with trade partners and building officials
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality on the job site
  • Deliver Pre-Construction and Pre-Drywall orientations with buyers to reinforce contact throughout the construction process
  • Manage the installation and maintenance of SWPPP for the construction site

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of residential construction experience, preferably in new home building.
  • Proven experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes, OSHA regulations, and construction best practices.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Must possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
  • Ability to manage and motivate subcontractors and crews effectively.
  • Comfortable using construction management software and mobile apps.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Credentials:

  • Construction Management certification or relevant trade certifications.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
