Location: Charlotte, NC (On-site – Must work from the office) Working Hours: Monday to Friday Salary Range: $42,800 - $46,780 per year We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of various events, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and successfully. This position is perfect for someone who has a passion for event management and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of various events including conferences, workshops, and community outreach programs.
  • Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment rentals for events.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials and social media campaigns for events.
  • Manage event registrations, including tracking attendee responses and generating reports.
  • Support the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all materials and equipment are in place and functioning properly.
  • Assist with on-site event management, including greeting attendees, managing schedules, and providing support to speakers and vendors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus, either through internships or volunteer work.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and vendors proficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with event management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities as events evolve.
