Job Description

Who you are : a matrimonial attorney with 3–7 years of experience who understands that divorce is about more than just legal and financial matters. You approach your work with empathy, recognizing the humanity behind every case, and are dedicated to supporting clients through one of the most challenging periods of their lives with dignity, clarity, and compassion.

You know how to stay present and focused in emotionally charged situations, remaining calm and constructive even amid conflict. You handle difficult conversations with care and aren’t afraid to address the emotional realities your clients face—yet you’re able to maintain perspective and avoid getting swept up in the drama.

Your background includes working with high-net-worth and highly educated individuals, often dealing with intricate financial matters. You excel at helping clients focus on what truly matters to them and at guiding them toward meaningful, sustainable outcomes.

In this role, you’ll advise clients on a range of family law issues—including prenuptial agreements, divorce, alimony/spousal support, and child support. Our firm offers Collaborative Law, Mediation, Litigation, and Negotiation services, and we provide comprehensive training in these areas. We work with clients throughout New York City, Westchester, and Fairfield County, CT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage legal strategy and oversee client files
  • Assess client situations, listen deeply, and craft tailored plans of action
  • Ensure all client records are meticulously maintained and up to date

What We’re Looking For

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically within family law.
  • Current license to practice law in New York state.
  • License to practice law in Connecticut is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, especially under pressure.
  • Mediation training and/or experience is a plus.

Compensation

Compensation is starting at $100,000 base, depending on experience, plus generous incentive compensation that allows to double your income and a comprehensive benefits package.
