LSI has an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced lighting technician. Bucket truck experience is preferred. This position provides excellent benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401k, paid vacation and holidays, employee assistance program, and more.

Job Duties:

• Reading work orders to learn the nature of the task, assessing and diagnosing the scope of work, and completing the necessary work;
• Maintaining, repairing and installing lighting and signage;
• Using hand and power tools and electrical trouble shooting equipment to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, signs, and fixtures;
• Using appropriate testing devices to troubleshoot and test lighting systems, continuity of circuits, electrical wiring, lighting and sign equipment and fixtures, to ensure compatibility and safety of all components;
• Maintains company vehicle in good working order and operates same in safe and legal manner
• Accurately thoroughly completes all paperwork on timely basis;
• Cleans job site and leaves it in orderly and safe condition;
• Meets with, and follows direction of, supervisors and master electrician;
• Work may be indoor or outdoor, and may involve working individually or as part of a team;
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Job Skills:

• 1-2 years of indoor and outdoor lighting experience. Bucket truck experience a plus.

• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to satisfy all applicable requirements of United States Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) - Including appropriate driver’s license and qualifications, background and drug screening, physical exam, etc.
