Job Description
We're on the move and looking for a reliable, detail-driven Warehouse Operator to join our Richmond, IN team reporting to the Logistics Supervisor. Help power the vertical transportation industry by keeping operations smooth, efficient, and customer-focused.
Primary Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inspection:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Report any defects, damage or missing items from packing list to supervisor.
Order Fulfillment:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to production and sales orders requirements.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including labels, packing list and bills of lading accurately.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Utilize established software tools or internal inventory tracking tools to record inventory movement and transactions.
Warehouse Maintenance:
- Help ensure proper maintenance of all equipment and the physical upkeep of the warehouse by following established procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including keeping aisles, storage areas, and shipping/receiving docks clear of obstructions.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Help leadership identify areas of improvement to establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 35pounds
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Regular and prompt attendance required
