Community hospital part of a system looking to bring on Director L&D! Sign On Bonus and relocation!

Responsible for facilitating, coordinating and delegating the delivery of patient care to a defined group of patients during their entire hospitalization period.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Senior Director, Vice President and the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Full accountability, for 143 staff, 40-50 beds, and management of patient care in each unit, for promoting the practice of professional nursing.
• Liaison between physicians and the patient care team and works cooperatively with administrators, physicians, staff, other managers and all customers of the Healthcare System to provide services, which consistently meet and exceed the expectations of their customers.
• Assess and prioritize opportunities to improve, plan and implement effective changes and evaluate outcomes of process improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• 5 years of L&D experience in an acute care setting.
• 3 years recent RN acute care experience.
• 2+ years of management in L&D in an acute care setting.
• MUST have L&D experience, no other unit would suffice.

• Must be able to connect with the team and build relationships while still holding staff accountable.
