Position Summary

CMC Inc. is seeking a full-time  Project Manager to oversee all phases of commercial HVAC and plumbing construction projects. This role involves coordinating employees, subcontractors, materials, and equipment while ensuring projects meet safety standards, quality expectations, timelines, and budgets. The ideal candidate will effectively manage multiple projects ranging from smaller jobs to large-scale contracts up to $5 million.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day project operations from planning through completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, project specifications, and quality benchmarks.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Project Forepersons and field staff.
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities and material procurement.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and workflow efficiency.
  • Prepare and process change orders, RFIs, and close-out documentation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Uphold and promote CMC’s company values and customer-first culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; comfortable with technology and project management tools.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills for subcontractor agreements and material purchasing.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
